The 17th Street Farmers' Market, located in the heart of Richmond's Historic River District, offers 4 weekly market days from April 22 to December 5th, as well as banner events such as Latin Mercado, Shockoe Tomato, Shockoe Chef Showdown, Shocktoberfest, Shockoe On-A-Half-Shell Oyster Festival, Brunswick Stew and Holiday Bazar. Area growers and bakers showcase their organic and conventional fresh fruit, vegetables, potted plants, fresh flowers,breads and muffins at our Wednesday & Thursday-Growers' Market, Friday Evening is our Red, White & Brew Celebration at the Market, Saturday-Bohemian Market. Saturdays also feature vendors of handmade crafts, art, antiques and collectibles.
