After 20 years in N. Virginia, we moved our family back "home" to be with family and friends. We started the farm out of necessity to teach our children where food comes from ! After much trial and research, we are focusing on Heritage Breeds in Poultry and Livestock, Free Range animals (ie get them outside), growing our own local produce for food, feed, and a farm stand for our efforts. We are in the process of renovating our 150+ year old barn to be a yoga studio in the loft. We have salvaged as much of the old barn boards for projects around the farm, including the yoga studio floor!

Will we; as a country, react before it is too late for our health, farms, and children? Time will tell the price we have paid.
