Just regular jerky, made the old fashioned way. Our Hereford/Angus beef are raised slow and easy. We do not push our animals to gain weight at an accelerated pace; we feel that when they grow naturally off of the thick, lush grasses of Northern New York the meat will reflect this. We use meat from beef that have been allowed to forage from organically fertilized native grass stands on over 200 acres.
No hormones, routine antibiotics or pesticides.
Some of the ingredients in our jerky are;
soy sauce, salt, spices, sugar, brown sugar, garlic powder and maple sugar.
This jerky is done in small lots, and hasn't been sitting around on a shelf for months. Currently it is less that a week old. The jerky is coming from Grass River B Ranch, which is run by another of the four Barton brothers. We have two ranches between them (ours is one). We have lamb at one and beef at the other! It keeps us busy and very happy knowing that we can provide you slow grown, delicious food for you and your family!
Pastured Meats raised in the beautiful St. Lawrence River Valley in Upstate New York. Over 300 acres of lush grass lands are grazed by Heritage Breeds such as Suffolk sheep, Hereford/Galloway beef and Yorkshire pigs along with our chickens and soon to come dairy goats. We have always felt that to allow an animal to grow as nature intended produces a better product and now science has proved that to be a fact! Grass fed meat is higher in Omega 3's, CLA's as well as lower in fat and calories! Come and enjoy the "fruit" of our harvest!
