A Backyard Honey Garden

Hi,

As the name "A Backyard Honey Garden" implies, the garden is in the back of our home. The many blossoms provide a great home for honeybees.

We bottle honey from our own bees and we do not use any chemicals to maintain the hives. We do not process/heat the honey. It is in it's natural state.

Honey is usually available starting in June or July. It comes direct from the hive into the extractor and into the bottle. Call if interested in honey.

This is geared for health conscious people that want real local honey without chemicals. We will NEVER use chemical strips on our beehives.

Note: The web link listed is not for the honey. For honey please click on "email us" or call.

Please check this site regularly or email me or CALL 717- 732-4767 to check availability. Supply is limited.

Linda & Brian

This honey is so very good. More flavor than you can imagine! I live in NJ near the coast and have butternut squash and honey sent to me from Backyard garden. They are wonderful!

Linda Freeman has been a good neighbor and friend for almost 30 years. I respect her opinions and know that I can trust her judgement. I have been lucky enough over the years, to sample goodies from her and Brian's garden and know that I am getting the very best taste and quality. Thanks Linda and Brian and good luck!!

We have had produce from this garden for several years now, and I feel comfortable in describing it as extraordinary. The tomatoes are especially wonderful--truly, they are the best-tasting I've had in years and I'm looking forward to this year's crop NOW! They bring back memories of the home-grown tomatoes I had as a little girl (about 50 years ago).... [more]
