Local is best, but Fresh AND Local is even better!

Biodynamically grown vegetable shares are available for the 2012 season. Details are at www.freshandlocalcsa.com

Fresh and Local CSA is a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) project dedicated to serving as a model of sustainability while providing the freshest, most nutritious produce possible to households in the Metro Washington, D.C. and the Shepherdstown area.

Our produce gets better and better every year because we are building our soil with minerals and biology (compost).

Many are aware that the nutritional content of food has gone down drastically over the past few generations due to mineral depletion of the soil. (more...)

Do you believe that "Food is the Best Medicine"? Then this is the farm you want your food from! We are a biodynamic "nutritionally dense," heirloom vegetable CSA has specialized in producing the most nutritious food possible for over 10 years. To accomplish this, we incorporate the soil science of Jerry Brunetti, Rudolf Steiner, W.Albrecht, C.Reams and Weston A. Price.

Our produce gets better tasting each year because we are building our soil w/ natural mineral powders, kelp & compost.
