Absalona Greenhouse

Absalona Greenhouse is a small, family owned and operated farm that currently consists of two 130-foot long greenhouses in which hydroponic, pesticide free produce is grown. Our main crops are Boston Lettuce and Italian Basil, but we also grow a variety of other lettuces, herbs, vegetables, and flowers.

We distribute to several local grocery stores and participate in three local Farmers' Markets, with plans to set up at five later in the season. This year we have also set up a non-traditional CSA in which consumers can order weekly and pay for their case lots upon receipt.

Because we grow all our vegetables hydroponically, not only is our growing season much longer than traditional farming, but we are also able to grow our produce 100% pesticide free.
