ACRES Student Farm

University of Wyoming ACRES (Agricultural Community Resources for Everyday Sustainability), Student Farm is a student managed agricultural operation that provides quality nutritious food for the local community. The Student Farm additionally provides educational and research opportunities for the Laramie and University of Wyoming communities.

ACRES also manages a composting operation for business in the city of Laramie and the University of Wyoming and it is estimated that 50,000 gallons of compost are being picked up by student and community members annually. The compost is stored and maintained on the farm site, and it used to cover the fields when the compost cycle has reached completion.

ACRES is open to volunteers of any age and experience level and is happy to offer farm tours year-round! ACRES also offers internship and employment positions during the summer and academic year.
