We are a non-profit organization dedicated to public education and outreach on sensible, sustainable land uses through innovative, practical approaches including agricultural protection, historic preservation, and cultural sensitivity. We believe rural areas should be protected from over-development and exploitation. We strive to offer environmentally-sensitive, sustainable solutions to cities, towns, private individuals and foundations. We foster, encourage, and support heritage breed conservation, agri-tourism, organic farming, and other sustainable options to preserve rural land uses and culture. We can assist with zoning issues, comprehensive planning, and advocacy in dealing with governmental regulation, in addition to providing grantswriting and research services.
