Plants grow bushy and produce loads of bright yellow, 2" long hot peppers that have a distinctive citrusy flavor. The heat is farely scorching at the bottom tips, but mellows out considerably further up the pepper. I cut off and discard the bottom of the pepper, the seeds, and the membranes when using it to season food for heat challenged folks. The flavor is delightful in anything that you would like to have hot pepper and lemon in: fish, chicken, rice, salsa, etc.
