We are an organization dedicated to promoting small farms and the "buy local" movement. Our main emphasis is on urban homesteading and permaculture.
The Alchemical Nursery is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
We are a non-profit organization with the goal of establishing local "chains of food" that support local systems. These systems include community gardens, support of food banks, urban homesteading and the promotion of buying local. We grow through education.

Alchemical's current projects focus on creating the major supporting systems of everyday life that any ecovillage needs for success. These systems should be plainly present and in balanced proportions, such as residences, food production, education, manufacturing, recreation, social life, and commerce.
