Alfred Farmers Market

Nestled in the heart of Allegany county in the quaint village of Alfred is the The Alfred Farmers Market. The market is a growers-only market, meaning that vendors must grow or produce everything they sell.

We aim to support agriculture as a way of life by providing growers with an opportunity to sell directly to the public.

Offerings of the market include seasonal vegetables, apples, berries, beef, chicken, pork, eggs, herbs, maple syrup, honey, potted plants, flowers, wool, bread, pastries and crafts. We participate in SNAP and the Senior Nutrition programs.

The market is located at the Alfred Village Green on the corner of Main Street and Saxon Drive. The market is held Sundays from 11 am to 3 pm beginning in mid July until mid November. Please visit out website for exact dates and special events.
