This year back by popular demand we have Bourbon Reds. Based on comments from our customers and the amount of re-order requests we have received these are by far our most popular breed. This year we are also raising Standard Bronze turkeys as well as a very limited number of Broad Breasted Bronze (Broad Breasted Bronze are not a Heritage breed, but we do custom raise some for one of our local customers and this year we have a few extra birds available.) These birds will be seven to eight months old and at their optimal size and texture for Thanksgiving.
They will not last! Please order early to ensure you get the size that is right for your table.
All of our birds are professionally processed and immediately frozen to preserve their flavor.
Thanksgiving birds will be processed on Monday, November 15th and will be shipped via Fed-Ex for delivery on the Thursday (11/18) or Friday (11/19) before Thanksgiving. We ship early to allow for customers who may be traveling and because some of our customers (my wife included) have recipes that take two or three days for preparation.
