Our all natural venison loin (also commonly referred to as "backstrap") is the most premium cut we offer. We like to casually refer to venison loin as the "filet mignon" of deer. Venison loin is prized for a rich, tight grain texture and is velvet smooth with no sinew or tissue.
Your venison loin will arrive in individually vacuum-sealed packages averaging in sizes from .50 to .80 pounds each. Because this meat comes from wild deer and not domesticated animals, the size and weight of each animal (and therefore the meat) varies much more than farm-raised beef or pork. We will include enough individual packages to slightly exceed the total pounds you order.

Michigan Venison Company is located in the heart of Michigan's Northwood forests near Traverse City. Our primary whitetail deer herd lives and grows within a 1,600-acre protected wilderness area and enjoys a truly natural, free-range habitat. All of our meat is licensed and arrives at your door fully frozen ready to defrost and mix with spices, herbs or other meat.
SHIPPING: To ensure you receive a quality fully-frozen product, we limit our shipping to Monday through Wednesday each week. If you place an order after approx 2:00pm Wednesday, your order will be shipped the following Monday. We will send you an email confirming when your order has shipped.
