Northwoods Alpacas is proud to be the First Alpaca Farm offering CSA Shares for alpaca clothing! In conjunction with one of the leading alpaca fiber pools in North America, we are now offering shares that buy American raised alpaca fiber and made in America alpaca clothing.
Our Alpaca Clothing CSA allows you to own a share of our alpaca herd and receive alpaca clothing from our herd as if you owned the alpacas yourself! Your shareholder fees help pay for feed, housing, vet bills & fiber processing.
With each share you will get 4 pair of our Survival socks (choice of Color; silver, charcoal, brown, fawn & Size; men's or women's), 2 pair of gloves (choice of Color; brown, fawn charcoal & Size; S, M, L, XL), 1 Snowflake ear-flap hat and 1 Snowflake or solid watch cap, your choice of Colors; brown fawn, beige & charcoal.
Here's how it works - Place your order now. You can order any amount of shares and take part in as much of the harvest as you would like!! The clothing will arrive in September from the mill and will be available for pick up or delivery. Alpaca clothing makes great gifts for everyone!! So order enough shares to cloth your family and friends!!
USA made alpaca clothing is unique! Since there are not enough alpacas in the US for a commercial scale industry, all the US made alpaca clothing is done on a small, cottage industry level and will usually be found only at local alpaca farms!
Shipping is available & is included in the price.
NEW!!! LOWER SHIPPING CHARGES!
We send the fiber from our alpacas to 2 different co-ops and have quality clothing made from their fiber.
Alpaca fiber is warmer than wool, wisks the moisture away from your skin and has thermal properties that are superior to most natural and made made fibers.
If you have never tried a pair of socks; you don\'t know what you are missing! Why be cold if you don\'t have to be?
