Asa Lee's cria fleece is incredibly soft in a rich, light brown. His 2009 cria fleece was the softest on the farm, 17.9 microns with a standard deviation of 3.6 and 99.5% comfort factor. Absolutely beautiful.
Asa Lee is a stately alpaca with wonderfully consistent and fine fleece. Luckily he is also a very sweet and patient boy, because I can't walk past him without giving him a hug. He is so soft and cuddly.
Asa Lee was born and raised on our farm in Fancy Gap, Virginia. We sheared him and sent his blanket fiber to Still River Mill in CT to be washed and processed into these lovely rovings.

Peaceful Heart Alpacas breeds our alpacas with a focus on fine, dense fiber. This goal has led to a number of our alpacas being recognized in alpaca shows across the country.
Our family is full of fiber artists who work with the rovings and yarns that we produce on the farm. We welcome you to share in the joy of creating with alpaca. This luxury fiber is perfect for weaving, knitting, crocheting, spinning and felting.
Visit our website to learn more about our alpacas and the true producers of these wonderful products. We raise and care for them and shear them once a year. After shearing and sorting the fiber, we send it to small fiber mills in Tennessee and Connecticut where it is washed and prepared into rovings or yarns for your use.
Enjoy!
