Warm Alpaca Socks made from my fiber in North Carolina. Socks come about 1/2 way up the calf. Very soft and great for everyone including those allergic to wool. Alpaca is very hypo-allergenic.
These socks are made with light weight, breathable, and make a very warm sock.
We have a small herd of Huacaya Alpacas and harvest their fiber every spring. I choose the finest fleeces and have them spun into yarn at a mini mill in Minnesota. The fiber is spun into sport, lace, or 3ply worsted 100% alpaca yarns. There is never any dyes or other wools added to the yarn. I have various colors and the yarn is sold in 300 yard balls with center pull. I have some finished alpaca products produced in Fall River Massachusetts. They only process American raised alpaca fiber. These products are not made only from my fiber as they produced in batches of about 500 pounds.
