This lovely alpaca yarn was provided to us by our fabulous herdsire, Ambassador. The yarn has a wonderful soft feel to its beautiful earthy fawn color.
Alpacas produce and provide to us a very soft fiber that is hypoallergenic. Alpacas do not produce lanolin like sheep do, so most people can wear alpaca even if they are allergic to sheep's wool. An alpaca's fiber is soft, light weight, and very warm, making it a very popular natural fiber.
