Alpacas of Windswept Farm is nestled in the rolling hills of Frederick County, Maryland. We are a small owner-operated farm that specializes in the breeding of huacaya alpacas. We started with a handful of beautiful silver and rose gray alpacas. Our love of the fiber has expanded our fiber selection to include now brown and fawn fiber colors. We sell breeding stock for those interested in starting their own alpaca farm. In addition, we also create beautiful roving and yarn from our fiber. We create four basic offerings of yarn; 100% alpaca, alpaca/bamboo, alpaca/mohair and alpaca/silk blends. We offer natural colors as well as vibrant hand dyed yarn. Farm visits are welcome by Appointment Only.
