Just a mile south of Whole Foods Brentwood and the St. Louis Galleria, take a fun, accurate Cheese Making Class taught by Merryl Winstein, or buy Raw Goat Milk or Fresh Eggs from one of the oldest urban farms in the area (since 1991). Cheesemaking Supplies such as liquid rennet, bacterial starter cultures, citric acid powder, cheese wax (mushroom wax), and all cheese making supplies can be picked up on the day you call. Call ahead, NO drop in visitors. PRICE OF RAW GOAT MILK in 2012 is $4 per quart, $8 per half gallon, or $16 per gallon. It's less than grocery store pasteurized goat milk.
