Altamont Orchards is a family owned and operated farm. We produce farm products for local comsumption. Our farm sells local products at our Farm Market, The Altamont Farmers Market, and the uptown Schenectady Farmers Market. Altamont Orchards produces a variety of products including: Flowers, Strawberries, Vegetables, Apples, Pears and Pumpkins. Our Farm Market sells a variety of local products: Honey, Maple Syrup, local vegetables and fruits. We have our own bakery, our cider donuts are to die for!! We ship our apples across the country during the holiday season.
We also host the Capital District Apple Festival, a family event showcasing Apples, Crafts and Entertainment. The Apple Fest takes place the first weekend in October. The farm also has Pick Your Own Strawberries and Apples, strawberries in June, apples in September and October.
