This is a local favorite and a heavy producer. Amish deer tongue lettuce is named so for its triangular shaped leaves. Medium-green, triangular leaves are perfect for baby salad greens. It forms loose upright heads and is slow to bolt. A popular variety with many heirloom growers. This old Amish favorite is slow to bolt and can be grown well into summer. We grow it yearly as a nice addition to our buttercrunch. You can never have too much variety when it comes to lettuce. Each packet will contain 100 seeds and planting instructions. 50 days.
