This is a local favorite and a heavy producer. Amish deer tongue lettuce is named so for its triangular shaped leaves. Medium-green, triangular leaves are perfect for baby salad greens. It forms loose upright heads and is slow to bolt. A popular variety with many heirloom growers. This old Amish favorite is slow to bolt and can be grown well into summer.
