This is a cut short variety of bean. One of the coolest beans I got from my grandfather. I plant it at the bottom of my corn and let it climb to the top, the old German way. Pod well over 6" long, best as a dry bean, great in a hearty winter soup. best for people with longer seasons 110 days and that is pushing it some years for us.
