Anam Cara is an Irish Phrase, that in the Traditional Gaelic means "Soul Friend". It is used in the Irish Language, to represent those people who feel like "kindred soul". People we feel connected to without any explanation.

At Anam Cara Harvest we believe that all of life is interconnected and we want to treat each aspect as "Anam Cara". We are a small CSA growing on 1.5 acres of land outside of Gettysburg PA. We are leasing land from Reid's Orchard in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. We believe in using no-spray, sustainable methods. This means we do not spray our crops and, instead, use row cover, plastic mulch and straw to help with disease control and pest management. Carin (more...)
