Anamu is a tropical plant found throughout Latin America, the Caribbean, and Florida. Leaves can be used fresh or dried and made into an herbal tea; or, chewed.
Our plants are grown organically without chemicals or pesticides from seed from plants we have cultivated. Susceptible to frost; Grow in containers outside of zone 10.
Uses: Anamu is used as a natural remedy for many physical ills and certain medical conditions including: arthritis, pain, & cancer. It has a long history in herbal medicine in the tropical countries where it grows. It contains a specific sulfur compound called dibenzyl trisulfide, a known cancer-fighting agent. Anamu's traditional use as a remedy for arthritis and rheumatism has been validated by clinical research confirming its pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory properties.
