We have a 6 plant minimum. You can mix and match varieties to meet the minimum. 78 days. OP. Called Poblanos when green and Anchos when dried and red. Mildly hot when green (1500 to 4500 scoville units), these 6" long and 3" wide, heart shaped peppers are used for chili rellenos. They are also very good grilled, having a little more heat than anaheims. They mature to a dark red and have a rich flavor that is used in mole sauce. They are also dried when red and ground into chili powder. This variety (San Luis) is very high quality and uniform, and substantially larger fruited that the variety we used to sell.
Our plants are sustainably raised in our own potting mix. We use only organic fertilizers and sprays if needed. We have been growing and selling plants since 1997.
Our pepper plants are shipped in individual 3" deep pots. They are 4 to 10 inches tall and are ready to be planted out in your garden.
We package our plants with extreme care so they arrive undamaged at your doorstep. A plant tag identifying the variety is included with each plant.
We ship every Monday and Tuesday, from late March into June, according to your location or your request.
