We are a small family owned and operated farm. After reading Masonobu Fukuoka's "One Straw Revolution" we made the leap to become a no-till farm. We are greatly inspired by the Permaculture movement. We grow a large variety of annual and perennial vegetables and herbs using heirloom and open pollinated seeds whenever possible in our short growing season. Since we purchased our small 3 acre farm in 2005, we have planted over 100 fruit trees, native shrubs, and many raspberry and strawberry plants. We also raise Nigerian Dwarf goats for milk, and C.V.M. sheep for their beautiful fiber which is available for sale at our market booth. This is our 14th year selling at the Durango Farmers Market.
