Ancilla Beef & Grain Farm

We are owned and operated by the Poor Hand Maids of Jesus Christ. We grow our own crops (corn, hay, soybeans). We have over 100 breeding cows with 5 bulls. We raise all natural beef for the Motherhouse Kitchen and to sell to the public. Our beef is naturally lean and has a flavor that is mouth watering. We offer our products for sale in Indiana. We strive for customer satisfaction. 200 pounds is the average weight of a quarter at $3.15 per pound for a front, $3.90 for a hind quarter or $3.50 for a half this is hanging wieght and take home will be about 60 % of hanging weight.. This price includes custom processing and wrapping. Holy COw canned beef is 27 oz. at $7.25 per can fully cooked ready to use with no preservitives or additives packed in a small amount of its own juices. You can pick up a recipe booklet with wonderful ideas with many ways to prepare our canned beef.

Ancilla Beef and Grain Farm is operated by Jan Warner with Joe and TIm (father and son ) working side by side in the fields and with the cattle. These hard working men make it possible for the farm to raise beef for both the Mother House and the general public to enjoy. Earthworks Market carries all the beef products they are located on Jefferson St. in Plymouth Indiana. Open from 8 am till 1 pm Tuesday - Saturday with Wed. and Fri. till 5:30. Can purchase by the hind, front or half, whole. Call for current market price, Cases of canned beef can be purchased for $6.25 per can at a case of 24. This is a dollar off the price if purchased by the can.

After speaking with Kim who was very quick to respond to my email and so helpful, I discovered there is a market in downtown Plymouth where they sell bread, farm fresh eggs, honey and various other items at times as well as their frozen and canned beef....
