OP. Indet. Heirloom. This is a high quality oxheart type tomato. The color is pink and the flavor is excellent. It has few seeds and is relatively dry, so is perfect for canning - very meaty. But, also excellent fresh. The foliage is typical oxheart - wispy. The fruits are up to 1 lb. We love oxhearts for their flavor, meatiness, and ability to stand up to the tomato fruitworm better than most. They also crack much less than the big fruited, round heirlooms. Originally from Russia, seed was saved by Scott Hamilton in Germany, whose wife's family had passed the seed down for generations. Named after her. Introduced in this country by Carolyn Male. Germinated at 94% on 11/18/11.
