Apollo Farms is run on family land, once part of the large Jones family orchards of Laingsburg. Alex, with his mother Pam, neighbor Jane and other friendly helping hands are attempting to revitalize the farmland beginning with a small market garden focused on gourmet greens and other unique salad accoutrements.Alex's passion for food has led him to work on farms in Colorado, New Zealand and New Hampshire, line cook in a Gourmet magazine accomplished restaurant, and currently places him as the volunteer coordinator at the Greater Lansing Food Bank. Pam works as a respiratory therapist and Jane as a special education teacher for Shiawassee RESD.
