The recipes that turn our organic fruits into gourmet foods were developed in collaboration with celebrated American chef and author Deborah Madison. High Desert Foods' products are made in small, hand crafted batches at our kitchens in Dolores, CO.

The intense flavors of our products come from their origins in the blue sky, red rock country of the Colorado Plateau. High Deserts line of low sugar, fruit confitures and tomato sauces are made from the 25 varieties of organic fruits and vegetables grown by company founder Bill Manning at his own Kiva Orchard, supplemented by a local network of cooperating organic farmers. All of our products are produced at our 20,000sf facility by people who are exceptional at taking great ingredients and transforming them into new forms that are truly magical.
