Applegarth has been raising animals naturally and humanely for over thirty years. Quality of life has been the driving force behind our practice and our decisions. Our pholosophy involves creating an enjoyable life experience for those animals who give their lives for our food. Our products are hormone free, sunlight enriched and free ranged. When medical treatment is needed we use natural and herbal remedies, homeopathy and reiki. We use allopathic practices as a last resort and only when we deem it necessary for the humane treatment of the individual animal.
At Applegarth, a visitor will find friendly goats, sheep, heritage cattle, heritage hogs and horses. We also produce poultry, fresh eggs and have a user friendly vegetable garden (in season!) Our products are available as individually purchased items or as a "share" of the farm produce. A

Available Fall 2011: British White Park calves and cross breed (with Simmental) calves for sale. Reserve your calf now. We have one purebred bull calf, a grandson of MY Town Frank (Wenger Farms) and a number of good quality steers for raising your own excellent beef.
