This apricot tree was well established when we moved here 15 years ago and it's been organic ever since. The fruit is freestone and much too tart to eat straight off the tree, but it makes the most delicious, flavorful jam and wine around!
Ingredients: Organic apricots, pure cane sugar, water, lemon juice and pectin.
We also have Apricot Sauce that's thinner for pouring or using in other sauce recipes, and is well suited for using over pancakes, waffles, pork, chicken, cakes, etc.

Our community is in a remote area along the Columbia River where most of the property is 20 natural acres or more and all of the producers are small family operations (except one large cattle rancher that doesn't sell to us, but DOES shop with us!).
Most of us qualify to become Certified Organic, and a few sell enough products outside the area to be able to actually afford the annual fees. There IS a difference in the quality of life for those who have been long time organic growers!
