The apricot pepper syrup has changed a little.......we've kicked it up a notch and made it hotter
than the apricot pepper jam. In 2010 we made it even hotter..........our syrup continues to be one of our most popular items! It's warm.....(not fiery hot) very subtle and delicious. We are addicted to this blend of dried apricots + dried red chili peppers + crushed jalapenos. True story: it took the CotQueen five months to try this.........just couldn't fathom who would like peppers in their jam! Then she served it at a party, and was the one person constantly at the table, dipping her crackers into the pepper jam & cream cheese. A new taste sensation!
We drizzle it on fish, pork, and especially chicken. The CotQueen's favorite dinner is this apricot pepper syrup, whipped cream cheese, club crackers, & the remote control. Made from our dried Blenheim apricots, apple cider vinegar, dried red chili peppers and crushed jalapeno peppers. No sugar added as our apricots are sweet enough.
