There's been a huge increase in the demand for apricot pits. Our Blenheim apricot pits are organically home-grown, very clean, an exceptionally fresh. Get out your hammer + dishtowel or use a vice to easily crack out the purest concentration of nature's Vitamin B-17. The kernels are chewable, grindable, bitter-tasting, and the best source of Laetril, B-15, and B-17. Remember...you have to crack the pits to get to the inside kernel.
Apricot pits should be placed in cold storage to retain freshness....and they are fine for over a year. The kernels are considered controversial because, like apple seeds, they contain traces of naturally occurring cyanide. However, they also contain vitamin B-17 and Laetril not found in any other food source. Please use reasonable judgment when consuming this product. You need to crack them as you use them......they lose their potency after they're cracked................so it's best not to pre-crack your kernels. They are typically picked in July and washed and then sun-dried for almost two weeks. We recommend using a vice or a ball-ping hammer, cement, and a plastic bag. But our customers tell us that a towel and three whacks does just fine.
Just a note:
YOU HAVE TO CRACK THE KERNELS OUT OF THE PITS.
The best tasting apricot in the world (and the only one worth buying) is the Blenheim apricot. Our family has been growing the fabulous apricots since 1947 & we're positive there's no better apricot. Apricots are our specialty & ours are the best in the world.
