Slip-pits, the "Cadillac" of our line! These gourmet jumbo apricots are a two-step process. Not many growers do this. Apricots need to be flawless, large and ripe. The few that make the cut, out of the 60 tons of fresh apricots we grow each year.......are sulphured whole, & sun-dried. Next, the pits are "slipped out" and the whole apricot is gently dried on trays in the sun. The result: a more complex, grand & meaty taste. The "Cadillac" of all apricots. Like a meal in itself, perfect for chocolate dipping. The CotQueen has lots of favorites, but these slippits have always been her #1 choice. We are limited in the amount we can make and always run out by the end of the year.
The best tasting apricot in the world (and the only one worth buying) is the Blenheim apricot. Our family has been growing the fabulous apricots since 1947 & we're positive there's no better apricot. Apricots are our specialty & ours are the best in the world.
