Aquaorganics is a family farm that is dedicated to promoting practical solutions in these days. RECYCLE is our motto. We utilize solar energy with backup batteries, rain water catchment, and aquaponics to greatly reduce our footprint on the environment. Aquaponics blends aquaculture with hydroponics to maximize production while reducing the negative side affects of both disciplines. The nutrient rich water from the fish farm is piped to the hydroponic system where the vegetables act as a filter and clean the water by uptaking the nutrients. Therefore eliminating expensive filtration devices and expensive nutrients. We raise Tilapia, Crappie, Koi, cichlids, snails, and other tropical fish in our tanks. Hydroponicly, we grow multiple varieties of lettuce, basil, mint, chives, cilantro, dill, arrugula, beets, celery, bok choy, kohlrabi, tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries, flowers, and beans and broccoli. It's been fun and a learning experience out here since we started. we are getting quail, chickens, goats, pigs, and sucks soon. we set farm tours by appointment. We also have a volunteers for food exchange program that we promote anyone to lend a hand.

I really enjoy the hydroponic & organic offerings. They do have some additional conventional produce for variety. Prices are very reasonable, & very nice folks!
