Archangel Apiaries is a "micro-apiary" (less than 50 colonies) located adjacent protected wetlands in Hillsboro, Oregon where we harvest really raw (never heated), unfiltered, naturally-produced pure honeys.

We extract from the hive(s) in micro-batches and immediately bottle in glass jars, which are then tamper sealed and labeled with the harvest variety and date.

We adhere to organic techniques (although not certified) and use absolutely no toxins, antibiotics, insecticides, pesticides, radiation, GMOs in the nurturing of our hives and in the production of honey.

Our bee's homes are never moved, unlike those that are transported for use in commercial pollination (typically mono-crop).

Our apiary is small ~ allowing each colony to receive personal attention and care.

Our latest ever first of the season honey harvest is near complete and our August 2010 Oregon Wetlands Wildflower Honey is NOW AVAILABLE. This season's vintage has a light, almost water color, a delicate and very sweet flavor with hints of chamomile and butter and a subtle melon fruit finish.

Quarts, pints and half pints are available for purchase locally at FoodFront.coop, housefarmoregon.com and direct from our apiary (by appointment only).
