The Fay Elberta is a yellow-fleshed freestone peach. The skin is fuzzy and yellow with a red blush. The peach is firm with a fine texture, and has a spicy aroma and a rich, distinctive flavor. It ripens in early August. The Fay Elberta is a rare find in California's stone fruit regions, and is currently a threatened variety. Fortunately, several farms throughout the state offer either nursery stock or fresh fruit itself, making the Fay Elberta an accessible and delicious crop.

We've been establishing a small family hobby farm, trying to prove 1 acre can feed a family and a community. We are coming close to producing more then enough to survive, with a sustainable philosophy, organic procedures and keeping our neighbors and community involved. We raise banty size chickens, for miniature healthy free range eggs. We also have fruit trees, we will begin to offer apples and peaches in 2011. Currently we have spring onions, yellow squash, zucchini and baby lettuce.
Fife's Family Farm has been in business for over 70 years. We sell all of our produce through the farmers markets and our Web site. We pride ourselves on providing the public with the freshest fruits and citrus. Always sweet and flavorful. Take a look around our web page to see what Visalia looks like or look at some pictures of the trees and fruit. You can purchase whatever we have in season at the time of your visit.

Dry Creek Peach & Produce is a small, family-run farm located in the heart of the Dry Creek Valley of Healdsburg in Sonoma County, California. The farm is one of the last remaining peach orchards in the Northern California wine country area. All the fruit is organically grown, tree-ripened, hand picked and hand-packed ensuring unequaled flavor, quality and nutritional value. The farm produces approximately 30 tons of organic peaches and produce each summer season.
