The American Buff goose is an American descendant of the wild Greylag goose, which is found in Europe and Northern Asia. As a dual-purpose goose, it produces both eggs and a rich, dark meat. The Buff goose is an apricot-fawn color with a whitish abdomen, brown eyes and orange feet and bill. The breed is the largest of the medium weight class of geese with mature ganders weighing about 18 pounds and mature geese weighing about 16 pounds. The American Buff is calm and docile, a good choice for a home flock. They are good, attentive parents

Yellow Wolf Farm is a small, diversified farm located in Harmony, in the foothills/piedmont region of NC. We sell naturally raised meats, eggs, goat milk soaps and lotions and organic produce. We do not use antibiotics, medicated feeds or hormones on our animals that produce our meat, eggs and milk. We farm sustainably using cover crops, pasture rotation and compost to preserve our native grasses, water and soil.

We are a small, family farm dedicated to hanging onto and bringing back "heritage breeds" of livestock. We use the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy to assist us in selecting with breeds to keep, along with our own research. Wise Acre Farm is located in Arbuckle, California, north-west of Sacramento. We are a small, diversified farm. We raise laying hens on pasture for the best tasting eggs around. Our flock is Animal Welfare Approved, ensuring they are true pasture-raised hens. We also grow a variety of seasonal fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers. Our fresh produce and eggs are sold through local farmers markets and at our weekend farm stand, as well as through Local Harvest.
