In the 1960s Dr. J. Robert Smyth at the University of Massachusetts, created the Midget White turkey breed to meet an anticipated demand for a small turkeyâ??capable of fitting into the smaller refrigerators of an increasing number of urban dwellers and single households. Yet the market for a smaller bird did not develop as predicted and a lack of demand almost pulled this breed out of production. The survival of this breed now lies completely in the hands of private individuals. Both The meat and the eggs of the Midget White are outstanding in quality

We are raising Heritage Hogs, we now have Large Black Hogs, Red Wattle and Tamworths. We have been raising pigs for 11 years and selling 1/4 to 1/2 hogs since then. New Market Garden now open at our new bigger location. Grass pastured Eggs are now available. This means that the hens are living on pasture, with grass and other vegetation and bugs for them to eat. This is a more natural life for them. They get moved frequently for fresh pasture. In the future, we will have a variety of produce, which will vary through the season. (more...)
