As recently as the 1970's, Americans - particularly Southerners - ate only wild catfish from both salt and fresh waters. The proliferation of farm raised catfish and their promotion led most Americans to believe that the farm-raised product was cleaner and therefore better. Today there are only a small handful of wild catfishermen left. Many of these fishermen still use the traditional hoop nets, a style that was taught to the Cajuns by the American Indians of the region. We are a family owned and operated seafood market based in Titusville with docks in Port Canaveral. We deal in Florida Seafood and specialize in Local Wild-Caught East Coast Shrimp. All of the shrimp boats we deal with are outfitted with the regulatory TEDs (Turtle Excluder Devices) which prevent the needless drowning of sea turtles and reduces up to %60 of bycatch.
Two mule farms is located on the banks of the Oostanaula river in the foothills of north georgia. We strive to raise the highest quality chemical free produce. To date we offer over 25 varities of vegtables; Lettuce, spinach, chard, onions, potatoes, beans, peas, corn, tomatoes, squash, peppers, watermelon,and cantaloupe just to name a few. We also have several fruits available from other local farms; strawberries, apples, pears, blueberrys, and black berries.
