The Royal Palm is a strikingly attractive and small-sized turkey variety.
The first birds in America to have the Palm color pattern appeared in a
mixed flock of Black, Bronze, Narragansett, and Wild turkeys in Florida in
the 1920s. Further selection has been made since then to stabilize the
consistency of color and other characteristics. Royal Palms are active,
thrifty turkeys, excellent foragers, and good flyers. Standard weights are
16 pounds for young toms and 10 pounds for young hens. The Royal Palm has a
role to play on small farms, for home production of meat or where its
ability to control insect pests would be of value.
We are a small family farm, growing sustainably since 1975. Since the feds took over, we have chosen not to be certified organic but sign the Farmers' Pledge, and as of 2008, have been Certified Naturally Grown instead. We grow thirty varieties of vegetables, including garlic, fingerling potatoes, heirloom tomatoes, eggplant, many root crops and greens. We make and sell maple syrup,and have wool, free-range lamb and free-range eggs year-round.

Night Sky Farm, a Grade A Dairy and Cheese Room has a new CSA Program! I call it the Total Farm CSA and it really is. You will be able to have your fresh raw milk, goat and cow cheeses, butter, Fresh Eggs, Pastured Chicken, Natural Rabbit, cut garden herbs/flowers and of course our soap products! All our CSA offerings come from Night Sky Farm, except for the Natural Rabbit which is raised by another like-minded local farmer who lives 3 miles away.

We are a sustainable, small farm that features CSA subscriptions, cut flower sales, sales to local restaurants, and the conservation and sale of rare heritage turkeys and chickens for both breed preservation and meat. We participate as vendors at the seasonal Woodland and Capay Valley, CA Farmer's Markets, and also sell products such as eggs, loofahs, gourds and feathers. We focus on bringing the vanishing flavors and colors of heirloom fruits and vegetables to our customers.

Native Earth Teaching Farm is a small family farm on Martha's Vineyard which is open to the public for farm tours and agricultural activities three days a week in summer and one morning a week and by appt. the rest of the year. We host a community garden and a range of individual projects involving pygmy goats, sheep, pigs and poultry. We raise several heirloom breeds and are especially fond of our Campbell and Cayuga ducks. We also teach farm crafts such as spinning and natural dyeing.

We are a small farm in West Central Ohio working to bring a tasty, tender, delicious product directly to the consumer without the use of hormones or antibiotics to promote growth. Our animals are raised naturally and humanely. We sell poultry, beef, pork, lamb and goat, a wonderful selection of Goat's Milk Soaps and Lotions. We sell our products at Farmer's Markets and through our Meat CSA.
