The Ozette came from Peru by way of Spanish explorers to the Makah Indians at Neah Bay, Washington in the late 1700s. The Ozette is also known by the names Anna Cheekaâ??s Ozette and Makah Ozette. It is considered a fingerling potato, as its size ranges from 3-7 inches in length and 0.75-1.5 inches in diameter. The potato has an earthy and nutty flavor that is similar to the taste of cooked dry beans, with a firm flesh and very creamy texture. The Ozette is generally served steamed, fried, or roasted. The Farm of Plenty at Little Moran is a community supported farm that grows organic heirloom vegetables. Heirlooms are seed varieties that are over 100 years old. The flavor and nutrient densities are usually much better than what is available today in the traditional grocery store setting. We are a transitional organic farm and only use sustainable organic practices with zero use of petrochemical fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.

Dharma Ridge Farm is a certified organic family farm growing a wide variety of vegetables. We offer a CSA program with pick up available on Wednesday's in Port Townsend as well as at the farm. We are a small scale farm located in Sumner County, Tennessee that is focused on producing organically grown food for the folks in our area by using Sustainable methods that renew the farm and the Nashville area. We focus on Organic vegetables, free range eggs, pastured pork, herbs, and flowers and we have a Community Supported Agriculture programs that provides to local families weekly from May until November. We are in the process of becoming certified Organic/Biodynamic.
