Prepare arrowroot tubers by washing off the papery skin under running water. Cook them by steaming, boiling, roasting, baking, or frying. They may also be dried and processed into gluten-free flour, or the starch can be extracted for use as a thickening agent in cooking. The tubers may also be planted in the ground and will yield a fresh crop in the fall. Dig anytime after the plants die back in the fall.
Grower Jim's Plants and Produce has been farming the same land for 27 years. I use NO chemicals, either natural or man-made, and no products are GMOs.
