The Ashmont/Peabody Square Farmers' Market runs Fridays from July through mid-October, 3 - 7 PM, rain or shine, at Ashmont Station Plaza, on the MBTA's Red Line. Our vendors include two farms (one organic), a bakery, and a florist selling locally grown flowers. The market features music most weeks, plus occasional bike check-ups by Boston Cyclists Union and healthy recipes & samples from UMass Extension. Vendors accept WIC, Senior Farmers' Market nutrition coupons and SNAP (Food Stamps); SNAP shoppers can purchase up to $20 worth of fruits & vegetables at half price thanks to the Boston Bounty Bucks matching program.
