Welcome to my roadside farmer's market! I'm an organic gardener. The vegetables grown on my farm are chemical-free! The soil is rich and black and perfect for this life-long dream to grow and share these fabulous vegetables with people! I also sell some produce from farmer friends that may not be organic but my displays are clearly marked.
Plants are started in the hot house from seed. Varieties are chosen for best performance and flavor for this area, Zone 4. Produce is picked fresh daily, washed and brought in to the lower level of the renovated and restored barn! The barn is a 1890s German bank barn with a stone wall foundation that stays very cool inside through the summer and helps the produce retain its freshness!
The nostalgia of a farm visit is a wonderful experience. Our barn is handicap accessible and our parking area is large enough to accommodate coach bus tours! Only 30 miles from Minneapolis! We are eagerly waiting to have you as a guest At the Farm!
