Agri-Tourism Advisory Council, whose mission is Preserving agriculture heritage through tourism is sponsoring two farmers' markets in Lincoln County, New Mexico. Capitan Farmers Market and is just one more reason to visit Capitan New Mexico, home of Smokey Bear. The Capitan Farmers Market is open each Saturday between 9:00 am and 11:00 am, July through September. The Capitan Farmers Market is located at Windy City, 115 Smokey Bear Blvd., across the street from the Smokey Bear Historical Park.
The Glencoe Farmers' Market is open each Wednesday 9:00 am and 11:00 am, July through September. The Glencoe Farmers' Market is located at SBS Wood Shavings

The Capitan Farmers Market was established in 2006 and the Glencoe Farmers Market was established in 2010. Both markets provide an assortment of locally grown produce such as; different types of squash, green beans, tomatoes, chilies, onions as well as various types of lettuce, herbs, and root vegetables, such as beets and turnips.
