Farm Description: Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm is a 200 acre nature center and working farm belonging to the National Audubon Society. Eight miles north of Dayton, we have year-round events and activities for all ages. We offer class field trips, adult classes, and many volunteer opportunities. Our farm is one of the first educational farms created in the Midwest. Visitors hike our trails, explore our barns, and learn how farms can sustainably produce food and other products. Come visit us for our Farm Babies Fest on the third Saturday in May, or for Apple Fest the third weekend in September. Our new Farm Discovery Center is now open. It includes hands-on exhibits such as a life-size milking cow, large auditorium, and two classrooms. Stop out and see the new building!
Farm Naturalist, Tara Pitstick, can be reached at 937-890-2968 ext 201; or call the Center at 937-890-7360.
