Aunt Em's Urban Inn+Farm - we are an Inn connected to an Urban Farm - a new hybrid travel experience located in the heart of San Francisco. An urban farm tour is available.
Our goal is to educate the many tourists who come to San Francisco on the issues of sustainable urban agriculture. Many of our guests marvel we can fit so much edible growth into such a small space. Many (I would say most) are not familiar with recycling concepts - how to sort refuse, how to make compost from food debris, etc. One great example is that in San Francisco, we don't call garbage "garbage" - it's now "landfill"!
