Autumn Sun Alpacas raises Huacaya ('wa-KI-ya") and Suri ("sir-EE") alpacas in all their rich, natural colors -- in everything from white, to fawns & browns, to blacks & greys, rose greys, and appaloosa patterns. We love color! We specialize in quality fiber and show alpacas. So, for a better handler / alpaca relationship, handle each animal in our herd in a calm, comfortable manner. Whether you are showing, breeding, or simply raising fiber, you will appreciate the benefit of a more relaxed alpaca! We offer fiber in all stages: raw / rough sorted, skirted, washed / sorted, batts / clouds, rovings / tops, and both mill-spun and hand spun yarns. If you like dyed colors, you can dye the fiber yourself or have us do it for you! We also create artisan / craft pieces from our own herd's fiber, available for purchase -- or consign a piece made especially for you! We always have on-hand or by-order alpaca wool products in all accessories and apparel. <

Autumn Sun Alpacas is beginning a CSA for its herd's annual fiber crop, to include: raw, washed, processed into rovings, and mill-spun yarn. The costs will depend on the type of fiber product you want. Cost payments will be at the middle of the year before any processing occurs (at this time, roughly May). If you are interested, contact us to be on our mailing list and to determine the number of shares you will want / type of fiber products.
